AKSCI

Alaska Science Curricular Initiative (AKSCI) offers curriculum resources based on Alaska standards and Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) that were applicable at the time the program was active.

AKSCI lesson plans cover Earth, physical and biological science themes for elementary, middle school, and high school learners. While some resources were developed specifically for AKSCI, the project features lessons from the following programs:

  • Alaska Tsunami Education Program
  • Arctic Climate Modeling Program
  • Aurora Alive
  • Science Teacher Education Program
  • Volcanoes Alive
