Critical Thinking: Mo`olelo and Science

In this lesson, students will use what they have learned during the Hawaiÿi Moÿolelo unit of Ola Ka Honua: Volcanoes Alive to write an essay explaining how a scientist might use information from moÿolelo or other traditional/ historical stories to help understand or research natural events.
