In this lesson, students navigate the “Moÿolelo of Hawaiÿi” unit of the Ola Ka Honua: Volcanoes Alive interactive DVD, where they will toggle between the English and Hawaiian language versions to expand their knowledge of Hawaiian lexicon. Students will be asked to find the Hawaiian translation for specific English terms and phrases found on the interactive DVD. Scientific and cultural terms are included.
